The development of fashion today makes people selective in determining their lifestyle. Lifestyle is very closely related to fashion, because the existence of fashion will support one's appearance to make it more attractive and become a trend in society. Fashion products include products that can be consumed in the long term because these products are used with normal use for one year. Fashion products include clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, and others. The purpose of this research is to maintain the existence of lurik woven fabrics by developing motifs/ patterns and colors into the form of innovative footwear product designs by developing Javanese Pedan lurik woven fabrics aimed at urbanites in Indonesia. It is also hoped that it will enrich the development of fashion products with nuances of Indonesian culture so that it can increase the selling power of Javanese lurik woven fabric. This experimental and qualitative research is literature research, because the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic make it impossible to conduct field research. Data were obtained from printed books, online sources and virtual interviews. The data obtained will be analyzed by experimental methods. The conclusion of the research is hoping through this Lurik cloth there will be messages, advice and life guidelines to be conveyed, which can later be continuously transmitted to the next generation in order to preserve Indonesian traditional cloth. Applications in subsequent studies with similar objects are still very open and can be continued.
